Hello! Welcome to the online home of Phil Seymour, the UK's premier sports MC, stadium announcer, British Boxing Board of Control licensed Master of Ceremonies, broadcaster, event host and compere.

I am a professional and reliable sports announcer and event host based in York, England. I have worked in a wide variety of venues across the UK, appearing on national television on Sky Sports, BBC, ITV and others on many occasions. Having now had experience of a number of different sports I can bring a professional finish to any event.

As a boxing MC I have worked with many top promoters including Eddie Hearn, Frank Maloney, Stefy Bull and Dennis Hobson, and I have worked everywhere from stadiums and indoor arenas to small hall shows. I have also worked for Matchroom Sports, on both Pool and Darts competitions, both live on TV and pre-recorded.

I have worked many times for World Snooker, including at the Sheffield Crucible at the Snooker World Championships, and for the 2018/19 season I am the official MC for the Home Nations, the Coral Series, the Champion of Champions and the Snooker Shoot-Out.

In wrestling I was the chosen MC to ring announce the return of ITV's legendary World of Sport Wrestling, aired on New Years Eve 2016, and now also the first series of the reborn WOS Wrestling, screening on prime time Saturday evenings on ITV. I was also the ring announcer for the first WOS Wrestling Live Tour in early 2019, in front of sell-out crowds across the UK.

I have worked in radio both summarising on rugby league for BBC local radio, and also as a presenter for Radio Yorkshire, hosting a sports discussion and music show. For more information on this and to listen to some of my recent radio work please see the Radio page.

To see some examples of my work please see the Video Footage page, and see the Testimonials page to read what people have said about my work as an MC, event host and compere.

I hope you enjoy my website, why not get in touch to discuss your needs.
